While I would absolutely love to believe this, at my core, I can’t. I am a mother and I am too, angry for various reasons. However, it is not an excuse to say that we are not coping. Your child can’t and shouldn’t be put in the position to understand that his / her mom can’t cope. It’s a too big of a responsibility for a child. If the mom can’t cope she should seek help as soon as possible. The child should not hear his mom yell or behave as if she can’t cope because it can and will affect the child’s developement. Therefore, instead of risking sending the child to therapy I humbly believe that the adult should do it preemptively. I am not just preaching here, I am doing exactly this!
