Well - it's simpler than this. He should not have made a remark about me taking longer to order in the first place. I stumbled for a freaking second. Most importantly he should have not made that remark in front of the waiter and finally, when that waiter dared to ask me ironically about the two lemonades, he should not have laughed like a jerk, engulfed by the waiter's validation that his wife is unfocused, but cut the waiter's behavior or simply don't react. What he did was to feel superior on my expense because he somehow, felt embarrassed in front of that waiter by my lack of poise in the moment.
