Thanks for your thoughts, Keanna! You are not mean, at all. You're actually right. He wasn't ready. But I humbly believe that I have been an enabler for him to achieve different milestones, rather than forcing him to do anything. At the end of the day, he is an adult, so forcing is out of question. If he would have felt this , I'm sure we wouldn't have been in this place today (married with child). Nonetheless, he left the heavy lifting on me - which is what I dread about him. He will just say "yes" / "no" but I have to come up with the plan.
