Thank you for your words, Rachel! I talked the other day with a friend that I kind of lost contact with for some time, and she confessed to me that if she would have known about the length of the current corona situation, she would not have split up with her lover. They were in a committed relationship for a while, when life happened - they started to get more preoccupied with their careers than with their relationship - so they decided to end it. She regrets the decision. Now, she can't travel with work anymore, which I guess was one of the culprits, being stuck, at home, by herself. She feels alone.

Well, being alone during the pandemics would be my least concern, when I have a small child and a job to attend to, while raising him, at home by myself.

So, I choose to be selfish. His father should do his part and for this I need to be strong and assert myself.

It's not always easy, but it's the best call I decide to make during these extreme times.
