Each of our circumstances is different. We are also different. For example, I know that I am resilient, not naive and I made some calculations that led me to make the decision to stay.

Since I wrote that piece, several things happened — more as a natural course of life than coincidence which made me glad that I pulled through the hardship.

Our son is now in kindergarten so we stepped into a new chapter of parenthood, where it seems we have time to reconnected and fill the reservoirs so when our son is at home we can live in harmony.

As long as we are humans relationships will always be complicated.
