Thank you, Brian! I think it’s worth staying and trying to make it work as long as you are comfortable. At the end of that day, that is key — if you are OK with your situation and your child/children can have an available parent than the marriage can offer a stable environment for everyone.

If it makes you bitter and sad then that is a different story.

By the time I am writing this comment, my circumstances have naturally changed as our son is in kindergarten. Having a bit more time for self-care and work, helped transition our relationship to a next phase. This one looks a tad more promising but I not gonna put too high hopes in it. I just hope we’ll be pleasantly suprised.

I wish you well and hopefully it will work out for you too, sooner than later.
