See, if you are patient enough, meeting someone normal can happen naturally. I think that when you are entering this kinf of “arrangements" you should also adjust your expectations accordingly. In this sense, the first woman you met was actually putting (your) money where mouth was.

Also, you said you are looking good, you have a fresh perspective on life and you have the financial means to suprise a woman pleasantly. I think, though, that as god-like as you would like to picture yourself, you’re actually lacking self-confidence (within the relationship spectrum) to just put yourself out there and be comfortable being single, until you get to know a lady that would share your values and would think alike. Otherwise, money can buy only so much.
