Sean, you realize that in most of the world, not thanks to Russia indeed, but because we fought for our democracy just as the Ukrainians do today, we have freedom of speech.
The unfriendly discourse regarding US meddling in other countries' affairs is not “ordered” by Kremlin.
There are people like me who like to look at the facts, analyze and understand a root cause.
What Russia is doing now in Ukraine is atrocious, to say the least — sanctions from the entire world are more than justified. We need to help the Ukrainian people BUT at the same time, going head in, without considering the consequences for others, as many times the US did in the past, is condemnable.
Assist Ukraine from a humanitarian perspective, but don’t push a button that might never be un-pushed.
Stop gaslighting Russia, or any other country for that matter and we will live in peace.
How come, pro-American discourse is justified and anything against it is automatically classified as propaganda? Not everything is binary. In politics, especially, there are many shades of brown (pun intended). Remember that when you call people have shared different opinions than you “whataboutists”.
